高市警局湖內警分局茄萣所員警陳冠倫、王明德等2員，於3月11日15時10分許在茄萣區東方路與正大路口執行巡邏勤務時，發現一名男子看見警方經過刻意躲避，掉頭想離開遂將其予以攔查，盤查時該男子支支吾吾不願表明其身分，警方便以M-POLICE人臉辨識系統，查出該名男子為高雄地檢發布之酒駕通緝犯黃O禮（54年次），經帶回所訊問後黃嫌始坦承不誨，經員警偵訊後移送高雄地檢歸案。
陳、王等2員於解送人犯返所途中又於16時20分左右在茄萣區忠孝街與茄萣路一段198巷口，發現有一名男子形跡可疑，員警欲前往盤查時， 該名男子立即衝上車準備逃逸，員警積極上前攔阻後令其熄火配合盤查，經查該名男子周姓男子（69年次）毒品前科累累，員警遂命其主動交付身上之物，該男子自知難逃法網，便自己從牛仔褲左邊口袋掏出一級毒品海洛英三小包交付警方，警方再從車上駕駛座旁之置物架搜出二級毒品大麻兩小包、二級毒品安非他命兩小包及大麻捲菸一支，當場予以查扣並將該男子逮捕帶返所偵辦。
據警方調查，該名周姓男子自稱平時工作操勞， 為了提神才會誤入歧途使用毒品，殊不知遭眼尖的茄精典限量萣員警查獲，周男也深感懊悔。警方也規勸周男莫因一時爽快，而賠上大好人生。案經偵訊後，依毒品危害防制條例罪嫌移送臺灣橋頭地檢署偵辦。

針對副總統陳建仁公布年金改革草案，智榮基金會董事長施振榮今天(20日)表示，對於無法永續經營的機制，調整是必要的，大家要各退一步，且改革需要考慮緩衝期。至於草案規劃提高勞保費率精選提撥上限，對企業主成本的影響，他回應，大家要創造更高的附加價值，增加競爭力。
智榮基金會董事長施振榮20日出席「2017龍吟需求趨勢與商機論壇」活動。面對媒體詢問對年金改革的看法，施振榮表示，若是過去建構的「現實、機制」無法永續經營，面對時代發便宜展，調整有其必要，否則大家都會變成輸家，呼籲各方要各退一步。不過，他也強調，可能有部分人在短期內，無法面對制度調整帶來的衝擊，此時需要有輔導、緩衝機制。
由於副總統陳建仁19日公布年金改革方向，其中一項重點是調高退撫基金、勞保費率的提撥上限，媒體也詢問施振榮，是否會擔心企業主成本提高？他回應，大家要共創價值，利益要平衡，而成本提高是大家所預期的，未來每個人都要努力，創造更高的附加價值。他說：『(原音)未來一定，大家努力，是為了(因應)提高成本。你一定要創造更高的附加價值才能夠跟人家競爭，否則你就是會被淘汰掉。』
對於美國總統當選人川普上任後的新局勢，施振榮表示，美國優先這個思維可以是「目的」，但不能作為「手段」，還是要回歸到大家共創價值，例如過去美國扮演世界領導人角色，思考如何讓世界更好，最後的結果，美國獲益一定是最好，而台灣也是如此，要對人類有所貢獻，自然會有好的世界定位。至於「製造業回流美國」對台灣的衝擊，他認為，此事尚未定案，不過台灣要有方法來面對，最重要的是，要在世界分工體系中，擁有不可取代的角色定位。
